Blues sign three players

The St. Louis Blues signed goaltender Mike McKenna and defensemen Taylor Chorney and Scott Ford to one-year contracts Sunday.

McKenna, 28, has played in 17 NHL games with Tampa Bay and New Jersey. This past season was spent with Binghamton in the AHL.

Chorney, 24, was claimed off waivers by the Blues from Edmonton on Oct. 11. He played in five NHL games last season, including two with the Blues. The bulk of his season was spent with Oklahoma City in the AHL, where he had 24 points in 50 games.

Ford, 32, had 11 points and 89 penalty minutes in 75 games for Milwaukee of the AHL last season.
