What's buzzing:

Blue Jays' Reyes activated

The SportsXchange

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Jose Reyes, who has not played since injuring his hamstring in the season opener, was activated from the diabled list on Friday.

In other moves, the Blue Jays put first baseman Adam Lindon the disabled list, called up first baseman Juan Francisco from Triple-A Buffalo and sent infielder Munenori Kawasaki down to Buffalo.

Reyes suffered a hamstring injury during spring training, and departed after only one at-bat on Opening Day because of more hamstring problems.

He hit .296 with 10 homers and 15 stolen bases while playing 93 games for the Blue Jays last season.

Lind left Tuesday's game with tightness in his back and was reevaluated on Friday, but the Blue Jays didn't like what they saw.
