Blue Jays activate OF Cabrera

The Toronto Blue Jays activated outfielder Melky Cabrera from the 15-day disabled list Sunday.

To make room for Cabrera on the roster, the club optioned right-handed reliever Neil Wagner to Class AAA Buffalo.

Cabrera started Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays in left field and batted fifth. He missed 18 games with a sore left knee.

Cabrera entered Sunday batting .278 with three home runs and 29 RBI in 78 games.

Wagner was 2-3 with a 3.26 ERA in 20 appearances.
