COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Center Mark Letestu and rookie center Boone Jenner each had a goal and an assist, and goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky had his second shutout in three games, leading the Columbus Blue Jackets to a 4-0 rout of the New York Islanders on Sunday night.

The Blue Jackets scored three of their goals on the power play and ended a three-game home losing streak in Nationwide Arena.

The Islanders, who were shut out for the sixth time this season, had their seven-game point streak (5-0-2) snapped.

Defenseman Jack Johnson and rookie defenseman Ryan Murray also scored for the Blue Jackets, while Bobrovsky finished with 30 saves for his fifth shutout of the season. He had a 37-save shutout on Thursday in Philadelphia.

Islanders goaltender Anders Nilsson had 29 saves, but struggled with his rebound control the entire game.

The win kept the Blue Jackets in eighth place in the Eastern Conference with four games left in their regular season, three of them on the road.

If they qualify, it would be the franchise's second playoff berth in 13 seasons. The other was after the 2008-09 season.

Two first-period goals gave the Blue Jackets a 2-0 lead.

Jenner scored his 14th of the season at 4:26 of the first when he reached behind Nilsson to poke home a puck that was sitting on the goalline.

Johnson one-timed a pass from defenseman James Wisniewski off the far post to make it 2-0 at 13:10 of the second.

The lead grew to 3-0 at 10:11 of the second period when Letestu and Jenner combined on a play in front of Nilsson, with Letestu burying it as Nilson lay on the ice out of position.

One last power-play goal, with 1:07 remaining in the second, capped the scoring.

Murray, who returned on Friday against Chicago, took a feed from right winger Cam Atkinson in the slot and buried his fourth goal of the season.

After going 0-for-36 on the power play during a 10-game stretch in March, the Blue Jackets have gone 9-for-24 with the man-advantage in their last seven games.

The three power-play goals matches a season high set twice previously.
