Paris (AFP) - French champions Paris Saint-Germain's Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic should be back in action soon despite tearing a side muscle, claimed their coach Laurent Blanc on Thursday.

The 32-year-old striker went off during the win over Bastia last Saturday but Blanc said that both he and Dutch international defender Gregory van der Wiel, who has a sore back, should both be back soon.

"Van der Wiel took a knock to the back with a knee, for Ibra, it is like a tear of a deep muscle,"said Blanc.

"They will not be fit for the game with Evian (on Friday). They are tough injuries but I don't think it will be a long absence for either of them."

Their return will come far sooner according to Blanc than Brazil and PSG skipper Thiago Silva, who faces a month out with a hamstring injury he suffered in the friendly with Serie A side Napoli last week.
