Griffin finished 14-20 from the field, in a quality performance offensively. Other key players for Los Angeles included Jared Dudley with 20 points and 5 assists, and Chris Paul with 17 points and 14 assists. Despite the loss, Al Jefferson put up 14 points for Charlotte on 7-15 shooting. He also added 12 rebounds. Kemba Walker contributed 14 points and 7 rebounds.
The Clippers posted a sterling assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.77. This year, they are 5-2 when they exceed 2.50 in this metric. Conversely, the Bobcats are winless (0-2) when allowing their opponents to achieve such a stellar ratio.
Charlotte (14-19) has now dropped their last four consecutive games.
