Blake Griffin put up his 13th double-double this season, scoring 15 points and registering 13 rebounds, to help the Los Angeles Clippers defeat the New York Knicks, 93-80. This is the 3rd win in a row for Los Angeles (11-5).
Griffin went 6-13 and converted 3-6 from the free throw line. Chris Paul contributed 15 points and 7 assists for Los Angeles as well. Carmelo Anthony had another strong performance for New York in the loss, scoring 27 points on 9-23 shooting. He also tallied 9 rebounds. Andrea Bargnani contributed 20 points and 10 rebounds and Raymond Felton finished with 12 points and 7 assists.
The Knicks posted an eFG% of just 40.4%, including 15.0% from 3-point range. This year, they are winless (0-3) when they record marks below 45% and 30% in those respective categories. On the other hand, the Clippers are undefeated (3-0) when holding their opponents to such low percentages.
New York (3-11) has now dropped their last 7 consecutive games.
