Blaine Gabbert: Shoulder Healing Well

Rotowire.com
Update: Gabbert (shoulder/forearm) will take part in the Jaguars' first offseason activities when they commence in mid-April, the Florida Times-Union reports.

Recommendation: Following November surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder, Gabbert was recently cleared by the renowned Dr. James Andrews to expand his activity level. The team is more concerned about his right forearm injury, which he suffered against the Texans last season when safety Danieal Manning's facemask smashed into his arm. However, time (and rehab) has worked wonders, and he'll soon get to work in his imminent quarterback battle with Chad Henne.
