The Chicago Blackhawks announced Saturday that they recalled forward Jeremy Morin from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
Morin, 21, ranks third on the IceHogs with a career-high 49 points (27 goals and 22 assists) in 59 games this season. He is tied for fifth in the AHL in goals and tied for 17th in points.
In 12 career NHL games with the Blackhawks, Morin has two goals and one assist since 2010.
He was a second round draft choice of the Atlanta Thrashers in 2009.
The Blackhawks visit the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday.
