Blackhawks, Kruger agree to two-year deal

The Chicago Blackhawks announced Friday that they agreed to terms with forward Marcus Kruger on a two-year contract.

Financial terms of the deal were not available.

Kruger, 23, had four goals and nine assists in 47 games last season, including two game-winning goals.

He led team forwards and ranked second overall with an average of 2:30 of shorthanded ice time per game.

Kruger has three goals and two assists in 23 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
