Billy Horschel got booed for doing the Gator chomp
Billy Horschel won $11.4 million for taking home the Tour Championship and FedEx Cup on Sunday at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Ga.
As he walked off the 18th green he gave a good-natured Gator chomp to the Georgian faithful, most of them presumably University of Georgia fans.
He got booed, which is awesome.
It actually reminded me of when Rory McIlroy got booed at this year's British Open for mentioning Manchester United while in Liverpool.
And if I'm Billy, I might eschew the Gator chomp after barely beating Kentucky in triple overtime on Saturday.
I'd take the $11.4 million, though!
Also, Horschel got a congratulator tweet from somebody who's done this a few times.
