The Bills released veteran CB Terrence McGee, the team announced on Thursday.
McGee was a third-round pick by the Bills in 2003 and started 91 of 122 games during his 10 seasons in Buffalo.
“Terrence has been a contributor to the Bills organization for 10 years and we thank him for his efforts on the field and off. We wish him the best of luck in the future,” said GM Buddy Nix.
McGee has 17 career interceptions and 89 passes defensed, though he has not played in more than nine games in a season since 2009. In 2012, he appeared in seven games with no starts and had eight tackles and two passes defensed.
McGee was due a base salary of $1.75 million in 2013. The Bills released LB Nick Barnett and SS George Wilson on Monday.
