Developing story:

Bills RB Spiller out one to two weeks

The SportsXchange

Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller is expected to be out one or two weeks with a sprained A/C joint in his shoulder, CBS Sports reported Monday.

Spiller was carted off the field in Cleveland in the first quarter on Sunday. He caught a short pass from quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and was injured at the end of a 25-yard play.

The Bills feared Spiller separated the shoulder, which would keep him out longer.

Tashard Choice led the Bills' rushing attack in the 24-14 win over the Browns with 20 carries for 91 yards. Spiller had four rushes for 16 yards before exiting. He also had two catches for 42 yards with a touchdown.

Starter Fred Jackson should return from a knee injury this Sunday against the New England Patriots.
