ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -- Buffalo Bills coach Doug Marrone says he's leaning toward having rookie receiver Robert Woods miss one more game to rest a sprained left ankle.
In providing the update Monday, Marrone says Woods might be better off getting an additional two weeks of rest. After hosting the New York Jets (5-4) on Sunday, Buffalo (3-7) enters its bye week off before returning to play Atlanta on Dec. 1.
Woods, whose 349 yards receiving rank third on the team, was hurt in a 23-13 loss to Kansas City on Nov. 3.
The Bills could also be without leading receiver Stevie Johnson, who hurt his groin in a loss at Pittsburgh on Sunday. Johnson says he's unsure if he can play this weekend.
