Bills' high-priced D-Line has dominating start

PITTSFORD, N.Y. (AP) -- Giggling uncontrollably, Marcell Dareus is still having difficulty containing his excitement a day after getting a first glimpse of the Buffalo Bills' revamped defensive line's potential.

The defensive tackle says this season could be a lot of fun after Mario Williams and Co. lived up to their high-priced billing in their first practice in shoulder pads Saturday. Williams was in on what would've been a sack, stopped running back Fred Jackson for a loss, and hurried a throw by quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick.

It was such a solid outing that coach Chan Gailey called it ''dominating.''

That's encouraging news for a team that spent considerable time and hundreds of millions of dollars this offseason upgrading what had been a porous line that also had difficulty generating a pass rush.
