From Town & Country

The cramped college dorm room is a cliché at this point. But a few universities are breaking the stereotype with spacious, modern residence halls. The Princeton Review asked students across the country "How do you rate residence halls/on-campus housing?"

Washington University in St. Louis saw the top response-students clearly love the university's range of housing options, including coed dorms, fraternity and sorority housing, wellness housing, and apartments for married students-and colleges ranging from Bowdoin College in Maine to Vanderbilt University in Nashville also earned high marks in the rankings.

Check out the schools with the best dorms below, then head to princetonreview.com to see their full 2019 college rankings, from the best study abroad programs to the most LGBTQ-friendly campuses.
