The Bengals announced Sunday that they have terminated the contract of DE Derrick Harvey.
Harvey, a fifth-year NFL player, signed with Cincinnati as an unrestricted free agent on March 23 of this year.
The former first-round pick of the Jaguars played his first three NFL seasons with Jacksonville before playing with Denver last season. He has eight sacks in 52 career games.
