Bellator “Rampage vs. Tito” Pay-Per-View Fight Card Nearing Completion

Rampage Jackson and Tito Ortiz Together Again, as Reported Target of Former Trainer's Lawsuit

Bellator’s first-ever pay-per-view event is quickly coming together as the weeks until fight time are soon to become days until fight time.

Rampage vs. Tito” is already loaded with the main event between Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Tito Ortiz, two former UFC champions, and three Bellator title fights.

This week, Bellator has already added a couple more high profile bouts. They slotted the Season 9 Heavyweight Final between Cheick Kongo and Vinicius Spartan onto the pay-per-view main card. Bellator also put a featured featherweight fight pitting Mike Richman against Akop Stepanyan on the preliminary portion of the fight card set to air on Spike TV.

Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney is certainly proud of the fight card that is coming together for his company’s first pay-per-view effort, something that has been years in the making.

“To be able to put on a card of this caliber for our first Pay-Per-View is something really special,” Rebney said. “Kongo vs. Spartan should be absolute fireworks, and will be a fantastic way to kick off what should be a historic night on November 2nd from the Long Beach Arena.”

After the Kongo vs. Spartan opener on PPV, the show will immediately launch into a flurry of title fights before the main event.

Featherweight champion Pat Curran puts his belt on the line against Daniel Straus, King Mo Lawal faces Emanuel Newton in a rematch for the Bellator interim light heavyweight title, and lightweight champion Michael Chandler steps into a long-awaited rematch against returning former champ Eddie Alvarez.

Bellator: Rampage vs. Tito takes place on Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Long Beach Arena in Long Beach, Calif.
