The Bears signed defensive lineman Derek Walker to a one-year contract and waived offensive lineman Tyler Hendrickson.
Walker played for the Arena Football League's Chicago Rush last season. At 6-4, 270, he's capable of playing defensive end or defensive tackle in the Bears' system.
Walker played in four games and recorded five tackles, three tackles for losses, two sacks, four quarterback hurries, an interception and a blocked kick for the Rush.
The University of Illinois product initially signed with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2009.
Hendrickson was an undrafted rookie free agent tackle out of Concordia (Minn.) College.
