Bears cut three players Saturday

The Bears have waived quarterback David Fales and released cornerback Kelvin Hayden and fullback Tony Fiammetta, ESPNChicago.com reports.

The team is dealing with multiple injuries to starters on the offensive line and at wide receiver, necessitating the roster juggling in advance of Week 2's matchup with the 49ers. Fales (shoulder) and Fiammetta (hamstring) had already been ruled out for Sunday's game. The team will likely send Fales to the practice squad if he clears waivers.
