After adding six players through the draft, the Bears reeled in 11 more rookies on Sunday.
The Bears agreed to terms with undrafted free agents — Wyoming RB Alvester Alexander, Troy OT James Brown, Old Dominion DT Ronnie Cameron, Louisiana Tech LB Adrien Cole, Maine S Trevor Coston, Western Illinois WR Terriun Crump, West Texas A&M WR Britton Golden, Albany OT A.J. Greene, Wayne State S Jeremy Jones, Liberty WR Chris Summers and Southern Miss LB Ronnie Thornton.
Five undrafted rookies made the Bears' initial 53-man roster last season, including WR Dane Sanzenbacher, who finished fourth on the team with 27 catches and led all Bears wide receivers in touchdown catches with three.
The way we see it
Brown is PFW's highest-graded prospect of the 11 undrafted free agents joining the Bears. He probably looked at the Bears, who lack depth at tackle, as a team offering him one of the best opportunities to make an NFL roster. He played left tackle in college and is very athletic.
