Despite many notable names on the ballot, no one was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Both players and fans voiced their thoughts about the vote on Twitter. What did you think about it? Tell us below.
Shocked that former teammate & great rival Biggio didn't get into MLB HOF.If Maddux & Thomas don't get in 2014 by 100% #justwrong

I took PEDs and I'm not proud of it..but people that think you can take a shot or a pill and play like the legends on that ballot need help.
— Paul Lo Duca (@paulloduca16) January 9, 2013
Being honest, anything over 35% would be stunning. This ballot should be Murphy, Raines, Bagwell, Biggio imo.

38.8? Cool number. Surreal to even be having this conversation. Sad to see Murphy not in, Character should/does matter. #3Dalemurphy

— Brandon League (@BrandonLeague31) January 9, 2013
I don't understand how someone has the all time homers for his position and another guy had 3,000+ hits doesn't get into the Hall of Fame.
— Max Stassi (@MaxStassi10) January 9, 2013
Am I surprised no one got in yes, am I surprised the PED issue kept guys out absolutely not. Do I think in a few years they will be in yes
— Vinnie Pestano (@VinnieP52) January 9, 2013
3,060 hits and didn't get in? Yea that makes sense.
— Chris Johnson (@C_Johnson28) January 9, 2013
@yahoosports Just ignore Cooperstown for the next 6-8 yrs or so.... nothing going on there .....ridiculous...
— Walter Denis (@wdenis1) January 9, 2013
I'm dying from laughter RT @yahoosports BREAKING: No one is elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame for the first time since 1996. #HOF
— Silver Nach Playbook (@NACHOcinco82) January 9, 2013
No one likes juicers "@yahoosports: BREAKING: No one is elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame for the first time since 1996. #HOF"
— Matt (@YinzerJagoff) January 9, 2013
@yahoosports This is a disgrace. Biggio? Raines? Both CLEAR Hall of Fame players. And Bonds and Clemens were never PROVEN to have used PEDs.
— Dennis Jordan (@DennisJordan77) January 9, 2013
@yahoosports Strong message that there likely will not be any first ballot #HOF elections from the 'Roid Era.
— Adam Bischoff (@AdamBischoff4) January 9, 2013
@yahoosports Biggio is punished because of what other players did or might have done. Ridiculous. #HOF
— brettmo13 (@brettmo13) January 9, 2013
@yahoosports Do not elect cheaters to the MLB #HOF.Baseball needs to all it can to regain some integrity.Long way to go!
— Raymond Norman (@Raymond_Norman) January 9, 2013
@yahoosports I mean.....isn't that kind of like saying everyone sucked? #HOF
— K8 (@theGREATK8) January 9, 2013
@yahoosports Fans should boycott HOF
— dino marconi (@djcionemarco) January 9, 2013
@yahoosports bs..both Barry and Roger are in as far as I'm concerned. Anyone who knows baseball would agree. If not, you're #crazy
— DLShow (@DLC618) January 9, 2013
I never really liked Barry Bonds.. But honestly he should be in the hall of fame.
— ⚾Andrew (@andrew7lawrence) January 10, 2013
Not one of the 37 baseball players on the ballot will be inducted to the hall of fame. I agree with this decision
— Jeremy Gonzalez (@jrgcanes07) January 10, 2013
Clemens should be in the Hall of Fame. Seven Cy Young awards. SEVEN.
— Shannon Stacey (@shannonstacey) January 10, 2013
I find it hilarious people are upset nobody's going into the hall of fame. We knew this was coming.
