Baron Geisler admits Kiko Matos is the better fighter

The actor says Matos got the best of him though their fight concluded with a draw

27 Jun - Although their fight concluded with a 19-19 draw, actor Baron Geisler admitted that his opponent Kiko Matos should be considered the winner.

As reported on Rappler, Geisler, who settled the score with "Nilalang" actor through the Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC) mixed martial arts match held on 25 June, stated that Matos had inflicted more damage on him than the other way around.

"I think they gave me points just to stay in there," said Geisler, who was clearly more bruised than Matos after two rounds of fight.

He also praised Matos, saying that the actor really knows his game on the ground.

Matos, however, stated that he had no issue with the draw, as long as he didn't lose the fight.

The two stars also admitted that they have already ended their conflict, which started with a bar fight last month.

"I believe that we both respect each other as actors and as human beings," said Geisler.

Matos shared that he is no longer angry at Geisler long before the cage fight started, adding, "Now that the fight is over, there is no more right or wrong. It could be that we were both wrong – but there shouldn't be anything to fight about anymore. I'm okay with Baron Geisler now."
