Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal will serve as coaches for the Rising Stars Challenge as part of the All-Star Weekend festivities, the NBA announced Thursday. The game will feature the game's top first- and second-year players on teams drafted by Barkley and O'Neal. It is scheduled for Feb. 15 at Houston's Toyota Center and will be televised by TNT. Team O'Neal will include Portland's Damian Lillard; Cleveland's Kyrie Irving, Dion Waiters and Tyler Zeller; Detroit's Andre Drummond, Golden State's Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes; Houston's Chandler Parsons; and Charlotte's Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Kemba Walker. Barkley's team will have Minnesota's Ricky Rubio and Alexey Shved, Sacramento's Isaiah Thomas, New Orleans' Anthony Davis, Denver's Kenneth Faried, San Antonio's Kawhi Leonard, Washington's Bradley Beal, Cleveland's Tristan Thompson, Orlando's Nikola Vucevic and Detroit's Brandon Knight. Irving was the MVP of last year's game, scoring 34 points with nine assists.
