While the big news surrounding the Tennessee Titans is how hard they are pursuing Peyton Manning and/or Mario Williams, the team took care of some necessary housekeeping before the frenzy starts.
The Titans re-signed special teams linebacker Patrick Bailey and have basically agreed to terms with safety Jordan Babineaux, though that deal cannot be signed until free agency opens.
Babineaux led the Titans in tackles last season with 117 after coming over from the Seattle Seahawks on a one-year veteran minimum deal. Because of the veteran minimum deal and cap exemption, the Titans cannot bring Babineaux back officially until free agency starts.
Tennessee also agreed to deals with exclusive rights free agent guard Fernando Velasco and defensive tackle Malcolm Sheppard.
