Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog has missed the past three games with a head injury and will miss at least one more game on Saturday after the team placed him on the injured reserve list, NHL.com reported Friday.
Landeskog, 19, is eligible to be activated for Monday's game, but it's unclear whether he'll be ready to return then.
Landeskog's injury resulted from a big hit applied by Sharks defenseman Brad Stuart last Saturday.
Landeskog returned later in that game and played a total of 16:23. He has one goal in four games this season.
Also, Colorado's David Jones is day-to-day with a knee injury, according to the Denver Post.
