Harry Douglas had a big day for the offense, leading the way to a victory for the Falcons over the Buccaneers, 31-23, at home.
Matt Ryan tore apart the Buccaneers for three scores on 20 of 26 passing for 273 yards and no interceptions. On the Buccaneers side, Mike Glennon went 26 for 44 with 256 yards passing, two touchdowns and one fumble.
Jacquizz Rodgers was a key factor for the Falcons, running all over the Buccaneers for 16 yards on eight carries while adding eight receptions for 46 yards and two scores. Douglas was a top receiver, catching seven balls for 149 yards with a touchdown.
The Atlanta defense had a decent day, highlighted by allowing 111 yards rushing and 226 passing while taking back one fumble for a touchdown. They got to Glennon for three sacks.
Buccaneers wide receiver Vincent Jackson had a big day with 138 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
The Falcons travel to Glendale next week to meet the Cardinals (3-4) while the Buccaneers are at home to take on the Panthers (3-3).
