Rivals250 OL takes another visit to FSU; 'Noles making a big move

Florida State is expected to sign four or five offensive linemen in this class, and the Seminoles aren't showing any signs of slowing down in that pursuit. One of the big names the 'Noles are pushing extremely hard for is Warner Robins Rivals250 offensive lineman Trey Hill, who has now visited FSU three times this spring.

Hill's most recent visit to Tallahassee was kept under the radar until he confirmed it on Sunday.

"I actually visited FSU last week, but kept it quiet," said Hill, who also visited Georgia on Saturday. "The family vibe at FSU is unique, but there are other places that do it some. But FSU, you see it a lot. I really love Coach [Rick] Trickett and his style. On the visit, I got a chance to see everyone again since I was in the area. I feel really good about FSU."

It's been rumored that Georgia and Auburn are the main teams at the top for Hill. But the physical guard, who had another stellar performance Sunday and earned the camp OL MVP award, said the 'Noles are right there at the top with those two SEC schools.

"They are certainly there with Georgia, Auburn," Hill said. "I have FSU up there because of my great vibe with Coach Trickett. He's my type of coach. The vibe I have with Coach Fisher and my comfort there is really strong. I'm very high on them. I'm going to get back over there again this summer, so I can work with Coach Trickett."

When describing what he likes about his time at FSU, Hill said he appreciates that the coaches are laid back and he never feels pressure to make a commitment.

"It's very relaxed. It's unique to me when I'm there," he said. "Florida State doesn't force things on you, and they are straight to the point and you feel right at home with everyone there."

Hill, who is rated the No. 2 guard in the nation, said he still wants to see some schools that he hasn't visited yet, including Alabama, Ohio State and Southern Cal. He also wants to take his official visits before making a decision.

"My comfort is the biggest thing," Hill said, when asked what will influence his decision.

Hill clearly looked comfortable on the field during the Atlanta camp. He won eight of nine reps against defensive linemen in one-on-one drills.

"I did pretty good and felt I got off the blocks clean and finished the blocks the way I wanted to with power," Hill said. "I've improved a lot on getting my body right, and getting my footwork quicker. Every day it's about finding something new to improve. That's the way I look at it."
