Atlanta Braves at Washington Nationals Highlight MLB Schedule for June 1, 2012

The 2012 MLB regular season is well underway with nearly two months of baseball already in the books. It is still a long road to October, but paths are already starting to take shape and many surprises have already occurred along the way. The beginning of the year brings promise but at this point in the season anything can still happen.

The highlight of the day will be when the Atlanta Braves visit the Washington Nationals at Nationals Ballpark in Washington, D.C.

Braves' starter Mike Minor (2-4, 6.98 ERA) will have his hands full as he goes up against the Nationals' Stephen Strasburg (5-1, 2.64 ERA) in an exciting NL East rivalry matchup. Strasburg has proven to be one of the league's best pitchers but can he calm the bats of the Atlanta Braves?

With a number of great games to be played on the day, this will be one of the better ones.
