Arsenal defender Andre Santos aims to return against Everton after being sidelined for three months with an ankle injury.
"I am very happy to be playing again because it has been a long time. I feel good and I hope to be able to play next week at Everton," he told the club's official website. "I'm really pleased the team have been doing so well. The displays have been strong, the spirit is good and we have 10 games left so we must finish well.
The Brazilian picked up the knock during Arsenal's 3-1 defeat at Olympiakos in the Champions League on December 6 and has not featured since.
The fullback stepped up his return as he featured for an hour for Arsenal's reserves on Wednesday and is now targeting a swift reintroduction to first-team football.
"It has been a difficult time because my ankle was in pain and I didn't feel good, but now it feels good again and I'm very happy to be back," he concluded.
