TEMPE, Ariz. -- Fill-in starter D.J. Foster rushed for a career-high 124 yards and two touchdowns and quarterback Taylor Kelly passed for 274 yards and two scores when No. 12 Arizona State overwhelmed Arizona 58-21 in the annual Territorial Cup rivalry Saturday.
The win clinches home field advantage for the Pac-12 championship game for Arizona State (10-2, 8-1).
Foster, a sophomore, scored on a 14-yard run in the second quarter as the Sun Devils built a 27-0 lead, and he added a 7-yard score in the fourth quarter.
Kelly completed 13-of-25 passes while setting a school season record with 210 points accounted for. He has run or thrown for 35 touchdowns. H-back De'Marieya Nelson also ran for two scores.
Arizona State won seven straight games and will play host to No. 8 Stanford for the Pac-12 title at Sun Devil Stadium on Saturday, a rematch of a regular-season game that Stanford (10-2, 7-2) won 42-28 at home Sept. 21 -- the conference opener for both teams.
In a series that seldom seems to follow form, the home team won for the first time in the last five games. The ranked team is now 6-5 when the other is unranked. The Sun Devils had not scored as many points against Arizona since a 61-14 victory in 195.1

Carey has 15 straight game 100-yard games, and is second among the FBS schools with an average of 156 yards-per-game.
Carey's 50th career touchdown closed the gap to 30-14 on the first series of the third quarter, but Sun Devils safety Damarious Randall scored on a 64-yard interception return five minutes later to put the game away.
Arizona quarterback B.J. Denker completed 15-of-30 passes for 175 yards. He threw three interceptions after entering the game with four.
Kelly's 61-yard touchdown pass to Jaelen Strong countered a fumble recovery for touchdown by Arizona wide receiver Garic Wharton for a 44-21 lead after three quarters.
Foster and Nelson added later scores.
Zane Gonzalez made 38-, 21- and 23-yard field goals in the first half, the first two on Arizona State's opening possessions, to break Thomas Weber's a school record with 18 consecutive makes. Gonzalez has not missed since the Stanford game Sept. 21.
Kelly connected with H-back Darwin Rogers on a 38-yard touchdown pass for a 13-0 lead late in the first quarter.
Foster scored his first touchdown on an 8-yard run early in the second quarter after Carey was tackled for a 7-yard losz on fourth-and-1 from midfield. That made it 20-0.
Nelson scored his first career touchdown on a 1-yard run after Alden Darby's interception to make it 27-0 with 8:04 left in the first half before Denker scored on a 1-yard run to break the shutout.
Gonzalez's third field goal with 11 seconds left in the half made it 30-7.
