TEMPE, Ariz. -- Taylor Kelly had 352 yards of total offense and accounted for four touchdowns and Marion Grice rushed for a career-high 161 yards and scored three times as Arizona State stopped No. 20 Washington 53-24 in a Pacific-12 game on Saturday afternoon at Sun Devil Stadium.

Kelly, who passed for 268 yards and two scores, threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Grice and a 14-yarder to Chris Coyle and also had the first of his two 1-yard touchdown runs when Arizona State (5-2, 3-1) scored 26 straight points in the second quarter to take control with a 29-7 halftime lead.

Kelly also scored on a 1-yard run early in the third quarter, and Grice added touchdown runs of 1 yard and 14 yards in the fourth quarter.

Grice has 18 touchdowns this season -- 12 rushing and six receiving -- and has at least 100 all-purpose yards in nine straight games, tied for the third-longest streak in FBS.

The Sun Devils outgained the Huskies 587 yards to 212 and won their eighth straight game in the series to take over first place in the Pac-12 South when No. 9 UCLA (5-1, 2-1) lost at Stanford.

Washington lost its third straight game to fall out of contention in the Pac-12 North. The Huskies lost to No. 5 Stanford on Oct. 5 and No. 2 Oregon last week and have given up 129 points in their last three games.

Price completed a 70-yard touchdown pass to Kevin Smith three plays in the second half to make it 29-14, but Kelly countered with his second scoring run on the next series and Washington was never closer than 19 thereafter.

Arizona State freshman Zane Gonzalez made four field goals from 26, 22, 36 and 21 yards. He has converted 15-of-18 attempts this season, including his last 11.

Sankey scored on a 1-yard run with 10:29 remaining in the first quarter, capping a 60-yard drive on Washington's first possession.

The Huskies had only 14 yards and two first downs on their final eight possessions of the first half, crossing midfield once, on Price's 19-yard scramble against a prevent defense as time expired.

Arizona State scored 17 points in the final 4:56 of the first half, starting with Gonzalez's 36-yard field goal. Kelly scored on a 1-yard run with 2:08 remaining, and after another three-and-out, Kelly hit Coyle for a score with 14 seconds left to make it 29-7.
