Arizona safety Hall suffers second ACL tear

University of Arizona starting safety Adam Hall tweeted Saturday that he suffered a torn ACL for the second spring in a row.

The injury, which occurred during Arizona's spring game, is expected to sideline him for the entire 2012 season.

He previously tore an ACL during a practice last spring. He came back for the sixth game of the year against Oregon State but rested for the remainder of the season.

Hall may have been injured causing an incompletion to receiver Sean Willet, according to the Tucson Citizen. He lay on the field for a few minutes, but returned to action. The senior, who is applying for a medical redshirt year for last season, tweeted about the injury five hours later.
