Carson Palmer had a big day for the offense, leading the way to a solid victory for the Cardinals over the Jaguars, 27-14, in Jacksonville.
An exceptional performance for Palmer was capped by 30 completions out of 42 attempts for 419 yards passing, two touchdowns and no interceptions. For the Jaguars, Chad Henne could not keep pace, going 27 of 42 with 255 yards passing, one touchdown and two picks.
Rashard Mendenhall carried the ball 12 times for 14 yards with a touchdown while adding three receptions for 13 yards. Michael Floyd was a highlight, pulling in six passes for 193 yards with a touchdown.
The Arizona defense was the deciding factor in the victory, allowing 32 yards rushing and 255 passing. They brought down Henne for two sacks.
Jaguars tight end Danny Noble contributed 62 receiving yards and one touchdown. Wide receiver Ace Sanders also had a good game with 61 receiving yards.
The Cardinals host the Colts (7-3) next week while the Jaguars head to Houston to face the Texans (2-8).
