    AP Pro32 comments about Seahawks

NEW YORK (AP) -- Comments on the Seattle Seahawks by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

    ---

    SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (9)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 10) - Finally, payback for Super Bowl 40 flags.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 10) - Monday night was a gift, but an outstanding defensive performance made it possible.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 12) - Comment currently unavailable

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 15) - Impressed with Russell Wilson and pass rush from Clemons and Irvin against the Packers.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 12) - A miracle finish - with a big assist from the officials - for Russell Wilson. Have a feeling Packers' fans aren't using the word "miracle" for the ending, though.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 13) - Suddenly the Seahawks can rush the passer. Suddenly, they can win.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 8) - Two things I like about Seattle: Its defense and its defense. These guys get after the quarterback, and that's good ... because they'll have to find ways to win with an offense that will struggle to manufacture points.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 10) - This relentless pass rush is tough to deal with, especially at home.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 9) - Russell Wilson plays like a veteran quarterback and the defense is underrated giving up a league best 39 points in three games.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 10) - The Seahawks earned my respect, particularly on defense. They never stopped playing, right down to the very last play. Please get the real referees back. This is utterly ridiculous and an embarrassment to the game of football.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 8) - With consecutive victories over NFC heavyweights Dallas and Green Bay, the Seahawks show signs of being able to finish unbeaten at home this season.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 12) - Could they be the surprise team of 2012? Russell Wilson apparently thinks so.
