    AP Pro32 comments about Raiders

NEW YORK (AP) -- Comments on the Oakland Raiders by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

    ---

    OAKLAND RAIDERS (28)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 24) - Back to AFC West drawing board.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 32) - Darren McFadden has been held to fewer than 35 yards rushing in three of the Raiders' four games.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 25) - Comment currently unavailable

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 30) - No team struggles to win two in a row more than the Raiders.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 29) - Raiders on pace to allow 500 points this season. Not quite the "pride and poise" this team used to be known for.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 24) - The Raiders are one of four teams with a bye this week. That will give them time to figure out how to better incorporate Darren McFadden in the NFL's worst rushing offense.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 28) - No longer do the Raiders lead the league in penalties. So don't tell me they're not making progress.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 30) - Something's awry in the East Bay when Darren McFadden is averaging 3.5 yards per carry.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 31) - Peyton Manning dissected this defense last week and once again Darren McFadden couldn't get the running game going.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 28) - If you have any questions whether Peyton Manning can still play, ask the Raiders.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 25) - Excluding a Week 3 home upset of Pittsburgh, the Raiders were dreadful in the second half of their three defeats. The pattern continued in Sunday's 37-6 loss at Denver.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 27) - Unless they figure out how to contain a premier quarterback, they have no chance.
