NEW YORK (AP) -- Comments on the Philadelphia Eagles by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
---
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (12)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 11) - Four turnovers a game a bit much.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 19) - Michael Vick is too careless, and the offensive line is too porous. Turnovers may not stop.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 9) - Comment currently unavailable
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 12) - Vick is becoming a turnover machine (six interceptions and five fumbles) ... a real problem that needs to be corrected.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 14) - Has the Michael Vick watch begun?
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 11) - Michael Vick has lost three fumbles and the Eagles have committed a league-high 12 turnovers.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 9) - Three games and 12 turnovers do not translate to a 2-1 start. These guys are lucky it's not worse.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 16) - Michael Vick has no one else to blame for finding himself halfway out of town.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 15) - There are questions about Mike Vick and turnovers. Not a good combination for a team with Super Bowl aspirations.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 11) - They laid an egg in Phoenix, against Cardinals team we all now know is legit. They were 2-0 but had masked a problem called turnovers that caught up to them this week. You can't turn the ball over and beat good teams in the NFL.
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 14) - Whether because of injury or subpar performance, it appears less likely each week that Michael Vick will finish the season as Philadelphia's starting quarterback.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 8) - If the Eagles could take care of the football better, they might be the NFL's best team, but how much can you like a team that is on pace for 64 turnovers?
