AP Pro32 comments about Colts

NEW YORK (AP) -- Comments on the Indianapolis Colts by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (25)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 28) - On the board.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 29) - Getting first victory in Week 2 should build this team's confidence.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 24) - Andrew Luck delivers with the game on the line.

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 24) - Huge win at home builds confidence with this young team.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 26) - Another Adam Vinatieri clutch kick in the final seconds seals it for the Colts, giving rookie QB Andrew Luck and rookie coach Chuck Pagano their first NFL win.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 24) - Peyton Manning won his first game with the Colts in his fifth start in 1998. Andrew Luck picked up his first win in his second start.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 24) - People who said these guys should have drafted RG3 apparently didn't watch last week's victory. Andrew Luck demonstrated why he was the only pick the Colts considered. No, they won't win a lot of games, but, yes, like Washington, they'll be intriguing.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 25) - It's already apparent Andrew Luck won't make the same mistakes twice.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 25) - Andrew Luck will play like a veteran and probably not lose games but does he have enough of a running attack to take some of the pressure off? The defense without Dwight Freeney had four sacks last week and AP's longest run was 6 yards. It could be two in a row with Jacksonville coming to town.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 25) - Andrew Luck gets Win No. 1 in what will be many in his promising career.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 25) - The Colts needed a lot of luck - as in Andrew Luck - to win Sunday against Minnesota. Indianapolis survived offensive line injuries and fourth-quarter defensive breakdowns thanks to Luck leading the game-winning drive in the final minute.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 24) - One more victory and they will match their total from 2011.
