    AP Pro32 comments about Chargers

NEW YORK (AP) -- Comments on the San Diego Chargers by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

    ---

    SAN DIEGO CHARGERS (10)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 11) - So far so good. Usual strong first-quarter of season showing by Bolts.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 10) - Winning games they are supposed to, which is a good sign for their playoff hopes.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 10) - Comment currently unavailable

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 13) - Six takeaways against the Chiefs and solid play from Rivers is a formula for success.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 11) - Chargers convert five first-half turnovers into a 27-6 lead over the Chiefs on the road. And this just in: no fumbles for Ryan Matthews!

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 7) - The Chargers are once again emerging as the team to beat in the AFC West.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 7) - I don't know what to make of these guys. They tease you every year, yet the teams they've beaten this fall - uh-huh, a combined 3-9.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 14) - Nice rebound from that debacle against the Falcons.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 7) - They went into Kansas City and dismantled the Chiefs. They are a very quiet 3-1, but not for long.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 14) - The Chargers were impressive against their division foe, the Kansas City Chiefs. Now they need to do it consistently.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 9) - The six turnovers forced by the Chargers' defense was the most encouraging part of Sunday's 37-20 laugher at Kansas City.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 11) - The Chargers keep winning the ones they are supposed to win.
