NEW YORK (AP) -- Comments on the Cincinnati Bengals by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
---
CINCINNATI BENGALS (14)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 21) - Maybe wanted Reds to have center stage in Cincy for themselves.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 20) - That was a costly home hiccup against the Dolphins.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 12)
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 12) - Disappointing loss at home to Miami, but still a playoff bound team.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 16) - A three-game winning streak comes to a crashing halt at home with a listless performance by Andy Dalton's offense.
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 13) - Andy Dalton is the NFL's best fourth-quarter quarterback with a 127.7 passer rating, five TDs and only one interception.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 12) - Sorry, but I can't explain that loss to Miami, either. Talk about Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 12) - With only one pick through five weeks, the Bengals are looking for some playmakers in the secondary.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 16) - Their history said beat the non-playoff teams and lose to the playoff teams - now a non-playoff team caught them. They will rebound and climb back up the ladder.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 17) - A surprising loss to an improving Dolphins team.
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 13) - From Marvin Lewis' misguided kicking decisions in the fourth quarter to a poor game by quarterback Andy Dalton, the Bengals were outplayed and outcoached in a 17-13 home loss to Miami.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 14) - Good teams don't lose at home to the Dolphins. The Bengals need more offensive consistency.
