Davis shot 10-16, in a solid performance. Brian Roberts contributed 16 points and 6 assists for New Orleans as well. Kevin Love had another big game for Minnesota in the loss, putting up 26 points on 6-20 shooting. He also added 19 rebounds. Ricky Rubio added 11 points and 6 assists.
In addition to 22.2% from 3-point range, the Timberwolves tallied an eFG% of just 40.0%. They are 1-9 on the season when registering marks below 30% and 45%, respectively, in those statistics. The Pelicans, conversely, are 5-1 when holding the opposition to such dismal shooting numbers.
This drops Minnesota (24-26) to 2-1 versus New Orleans on the season.
