Angelina Jolie Still Set to Teach at the London School of Economics in 2017

Angelina Jolie isn't letting her split from Brad Pitt slow down her career ambitions.

In the wake of her divorce filing last week, news has surfaced that the Oscar winner is still set to join the the faculty of the London School of Economics next year as a visiting professor, according to People.

A spokesperson for the school confirmed that she will be on board in September 2017 for a "new master's program focused on women, peace, and security," which will begin accepting applications this fall. While she teaches there, the Maleficent star is expected to give guest lectures, continue research on projects, and participate in workshop and public events.

Jolie and Britain's former foreign secretary William Hague launched the school's Centre for Women, Peace and Security in February 2015. The politico will also be on hand to serve as a visiting professor with Jolie in the program.

The LSE announced in May that the mom of six would be one of four visiting professors appointed to the program, adding in a statement that the curicculum will be "dedicated to developing strategies to promote gender equality and enhance women's economic, social and political participation and security."
