Andre Smith on Bengals non-football injury list
Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Andre Smith continues to have issues despite being given a new contract this offseason.
He was placed on the non-football injury due to a calf injury.
A former first-round draft pick from Alabama, Smith didn't attend a mandatory minicamp due to personal reasons and was fined and he was a no-show for the offseason conditioning program.
Meanwhile, the Bengals placed the following players on the physically unable to perform list: wide receiver Tyrone Goard (finger), fullback Chris Pressley (knee), quarterback Zac Robinson elbow), and running back Bernard Scott (knee).
Running back Cedrick Peerman was placed on the non-football injury list with an ankle injury. And long snapper Bryce Davis was placed on the non-football illness list.
