Alfredo Simon stays dominant in no-decision

Reds pitcher Alfredo Simon turned in a dominant outing in a no-decision Monday night against the Cubs in Chicago. He allowed five hits and one walk while striking out three over seven innings of a 1-0 defeat.

Over his last two starts covering 14 innings, Simon has allowed two earned runs. He owns a 3.35 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP over 30 starts (185 1/3 innings). His next start will come Sunday at St. Louis.
