Al Jefferson finished with 25 points and added 16 rebounds, his 29th double-double of the season, to lead the Charlotte Bobcats to a victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves, 105-93. Charlotte (32-34) is now on a three-game winning streak.
Jefferson shot 12-26 from the field. Other top performers for Charlotte were Michael Kidd-Gilchrist with 10 points and 9 rebounds, and Cody Zeller with 10 points and 8 rebounds. Despite the loss, Kevin Martin put up 19 points for Minnesota on 6-13 shooting, including 3-5 from behind the arc.
This drops Minnesota (32-32) to 1-1 against Charlotte on the year.
