Al Horford puts up double-double, Hawks defeat Bulls

In a complete effort, Al Horford put up 21 points and recorded 10 rebounds and six assists to help the Atlanta Hawks beat the Chicago Bulls, 93-86. The Hawks put together a very efficient performance, turning it over on only nine possessions while totaling 26 assists. This is the ninth win for Atlanta (17-7) in its last 10 games.

Horford finished 10-19 from the field. Atlanta also got solid performances from Paul Millsap with 17 points and eight rebounds, and Jeff Teague with 12 points and seven assists. On 8-17 shooting, including 3-5 from behind the arc, Jimmy Butler scored 22 points for Chicago in the loss. He also tallied nine rebounds. Taj Gibson added 15 points and 17 rebounds, Derrick Rose finished with 14 points and eight assists, and Pau Gasol put up 13 points and 12 rebounds.

After putting up a sparkling assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.89, the Hawks are undefeated (3-0) on the season when eclipsing 2.50 in this category. However, the Bulls are 2-1 when allowing their opponents to achieve such a lofty ratio.
