Texas A&M wide receiver Thomas Johnson, who disappeared for two days in November, is leaving the Aggies' program. Head coach Kevin Sumlin told the San Antonio Express that the freshman wide receiver from Dallas has withdrawn from school and is "just trying to figure out what his next step is going to be." Sumlin didn't rule out Johnson returning to A&M. Johnson didn't show up for practice on Nov. 12, and was eventually found early on Nov. 15 near his high school, Dallas Skyline. Johnson had 30 receptions for 339 yards and a touchdown in 2012. --Sumlin said Clarence McKinney will call the offensive plays during Texas A&M's games against Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 4. Coordinator Kliff Kingsbury was hired as Texas Tech's head coach last week.
