Update: Peterson (abdomen/groin) carried 34 times for 199 yards with a touchdown and added a two-yard TD catch in Sunday's win over the Packers.
Recommendation: Peterson fell just nine yards shy of Eric Dickerson's single-season record of 2,105 rushing yards, but his outstanding effort caps a phenomenal comeback story that has taken the running back from a serious injury (sustained just over a year ago) to leading the Vikings to a 10-6 season and a playoff berth.
