Tennessee walk-on splits pants while celebrating against Kentucky (Video)

Tennessee pulled off a thrilling victory over No. 4 Kentucky Tuesday, one of three major upsets in college hoops on the night. But the big time win wasn’t without big time embarrassment — for one walk-on, at least.

The most memorable moment of the night at Thompson-Boling Arena was Robert Hubbs’ dunk to put the Vols up seven with under three minutes to play:

It was also, however, the most forgettable moment for an enthusiastic member of Tennessee’s bench, who got a little overzealous with his celebration:

It’s bad enough to fall down celebrating a dunk. The fact that the walk-on, who looks to be sophomore guard Lucas Campbell, has to be pulled back by a teammate and team manager makes it even worse. The pants rip completes the trifecta of humiliation.

Fortunately for the player, his teammates and fans will be able to laugh it off, or forget the split altogether, amid the grander celebrations of Tennessee’s victory.
