Michael Crabtree was a big receiving threat, sparking a close victory for the 49ers against the Packers, 23-20 in Green Bay. With the victory, San Francisco advances to the NFC Divisional Round.
Colin Kaepernick completed the game 16 for 30 with 227 yards passing, one touchdown and one pick. On the Packers side, Aaron Rodgers went 17 for 26 with 177 yards passing, one touchdown and no interceptions.
Frank Gore rushed for 66 yards on 20 attempts with a touchdown in addition to one reception for 11 yards. Crabtree was a top receiver, catching eight balls for 125 yards.
The San Francisco defense was the difference in the victory, allowing 124 yards rushing and 177 passing. They harassed Rodgers and the Packers offensive line with an imposing four sacks.
Lastly, Phil Dawson was perfect, hitting all three of the field goals he attempted.
Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson put up 62 receiving yards and one touchdown. Running back Eddie Lacy also had a noteworthy performance with 81 rushing yards.
